Hello.

I'm Penny. Husband Johnnie and I host the chat room every night from 7-11 central time.

I grew up in NE Pennsylvania. I'm 47 years old. I spent 13 years in the US Navy, then went back to school and got my BS in Human Services from Western Washington University. I worked another six years and then had to stop working (11/01)... No one could explain exactly what was wrong. I had 2 buldging disks in my back, but my stiffness, pain, limp and balance problems were largly ignored. In 2003 I developed a tremor in my right leg. I needed a cane to walk and was so stiff I could not look over my shoulder!

I was dx with Parkinson's disease by my family doctor in March 2004. This was confirmed by Dr. Samii of the University of Washington.
