I am currently taking 4 25/100 sinemet per day. How would you suggest switching to CR? I realize the ldopa released in the CR is less than with regular sinemet. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Thank you,

the nice part with this switch is that there is no taper off or taper on issues. You could actually start the cr tomorrow. I do recommend to take 1 or 2 of the regular release in the morning to "jump start" your system then you can take the cr 3 times daily.

Best of health,

Mark

Thanks Mark,
CR after meals or before on empty stomach? Have found conflicting suggestions. Any set rule.
Thx,

no set rule. Many take it after a meal because in some people it can be tough on the stomach. Just make sure you separate it from any protein by a couple of hours. The protein can negate the effects of the sinemet.
