Hi, I'm Jenny aged 48 - newly diagnosed and new member :) My meds are:8 am - Jumex 5 (Selegiline) 1 tab Akineton Biperidene 4 MG Retard 1 tab 5-HTP - 100mg 1 tab St. John's Wort 300g - 1 tab 1 p.m. Rodiola - 1 tab Evening Primrose Oil - 1 tab Omega 3 fish oil - 1 tab 2 p.m. Akineton Biperidene 4 MG Retard 1 tab St. John's Wort 300g - 1 tab This has been the meds for the last 5 weeks. I do find however that I only manage to relieve the severe tremors in my right side at around 4 p.m. .. so when the secondo Biperidene kicks in. In the morning I have very little benefit at all. I have my next appointment on June 11th - and I think they will change or increase my meds. I would dearly appreciate your opinion on the above as 2 days ago my left leg started cramping up -- so I am very worried that future balance and movement will become a problem. Thank you very much in advance Jen

jen, What time of day and how much of each med do you take. I could better help you with a drug regime if I know your timing of meds. It could be a timing issue, dose issue, or a med issue. Let me know so I can help you before your appt. Best of health, Mark

Thanks so much for answering :) I take 1 tablet of Biperidene 4 MG retard and 1 tablet of Selegiline at 8 o'clock in the morning. Then at 2 o'clock in the afternoon I take 1 tablet of Biperidene 4 MG retard again. That's all the medicine I take (not including the Natural Stuff). My tremors really improve at around 4 o'clock in the afternoon -before that I do not seem to benefit at all. Maybe I could increase the morning dose or take them at night as well?? I don't know what the maximum recommended dose of Biperidene is to be honest. Thank you again for your kind interest Keep well Jenny

it sounds like you may need to either increase the am dose of selegine or shorten the interval between doses to get better control of the tremor. Do have Azilect available where you live? This is very similar to selegine and best of all it is a once a day dose. It is a very good medication. Another option may be to try sinemet cr. This is a long acting sinemet that can control tremors on a dose of 1 to 3 times daily. Best of health, Mark
