Recently I have been experiencing a lot of shoulder pain. My chiropractor thinks I may have bone spurs and suggested I see a orthopedic doctor and get a steroid shot. I was wondering it that would have any reaction to my medication. Currently I am on Stalevo 100 4 times a day, 8 mg requip xl, 5 mg Eldepryl 2 times a day, and 100 mg Amantadine twice a day and 20 mg remeron at bedtime.

the eldepryl can cause joint pain in some people. It is a side effect that will only go away if the dose is decreased or if the medication is stopped. What I think you need to do is at least get an xray or MRI to make sure there is no bone spur or skeletal issue. If there is none then you need to decide if the pain is bad enough to stop the medication. Steroid shots will not help if it is the medication that is causing it.

For the past two weeks I have had severe knee pain, seems to be in the joints, on the inside of the knees.

I have had knee pain before but nothing like this, and that has lasted so long. I have tried cold, heat, had my message therapist work on them. Nothing seems to help. I have been waking up at night now, every time I twist or turn the pain wakes me up.

I am on Siminet, almost a year now and Mirapex for about six months. Other than nausea I have not had any side effects, that I recognize as side effects anyway and I am on something to alleviate the nausea caused by the mirapex. It just seems like on thing after the other.

Anyone have joint pain in the knees?? I have always managed to handle the pain and symptoms but this one has me baffled and frustrated.

thanks for your input...

much of the knee pain issues may be due to the fact the PD effect of foot dragging may be getting worse. If the foot drags, the other leg will try to compensate for it makng the pain worse. You may want to try a knee brace with side stabilizers to keep the knee straight and help with some pain. You mayvaldo want to get an x-ray or scan done on it to make sure there is no permenant damage
