Does anyone have a source for Neupro patches (withdrawen from US market in May)?
My MD suggested I try an Oversea's pharmarcy but I am dubious of doing a random search and wonder if anyone has had good luck with one.

Thanks

I , too , miss the patch- it was so helpful and I have had a time trying to increase my other meds to compensate...

from what I understand it was withdrawn from the market by the manufacturer. The issue is not just a U.S. issue. It is a company issue.

My neurologist wants to put me on the nicotine patch? When the sinemet (25/l00) wears off my legs get very weak and ache something awful making walking difficult. I don't know anything about nicotine patches. He told me to go on the internet and read up on it and we can discuss this on my next appt.

I have read that Nupro patches have been deemed stable if shipped and stored cold (refrigerated). Is this pending FDA approvals?

I too miss these patches!

the FDA can regulate how it is stored but cannot guarantee shipment conditions. If you try to get them shipped remember that any extreme temperature or humidity changes can damage the medication.
