I have been on azilect for about 2 years with no side effects. I have a new doctor who suggested adding requip.. I am now in my 3rd week and feel very sleepy . I need 6 more weeks to go with increases of .25mg. per week.
Will this sleepiness go away or do I need to call my doctor and say that this medicine is not for me?

one of the main side effects of this class of medication is spontaneous drowsiness. one medication that is used that can be very effective to combat the drowsines is Provigil. It has mainly been used for narcolepsy disorder but is now used quite regularly in combo with requip and mirapex.

best of health,
