What age is everyone here (the Ohioans)???

I'm 40 (was diagnosed at age 33). Anyone have any suggestions for a meeting place? I know there are other Ohioans on this site as well...maybe if everyone makes him- and her-self known on this post, we can get a better idea of what might be a central location.

So far I see: Akron/Canton, Massillon, Grafton, and SE Ohio. I know of someone else here in Brunswick and another person in Xenia. Anybody else want to disclose their location?

I'd love to get an annual event going, where we could all meet, socialize, and lend support.

Thanks!
Mihai

I am from the Cincinnati area, but to be specific, I am between Mount Orab and Williamsburg. I live in Brown County.

As far as a meeting is concerned, I am attending for the second time the Sunflower Revolution symposium on September 12th,2009. It is a first rate symposium specifically for those who have PD. It is quite a "show" and is WORTH IT to attend.

Here is the web address:
http://sunflowerrev.org/sunflower-revolution-vi-patient-symposium

If anyone from the Cincinnati are has attended before please reply. I will also post this as new posting on this site. Note: I am not affliated to this save for being a patient of one of the practices and I gain nothing - just to keep everything above board.

Hi all,

I'm keeping tabs on this post. Maybe I'll collect contact information at some point to plan an event. Or maybe we can all meet up at the Sunflower Revolution Symposium...thanks John. I'm going to look into that!

Hi friends...

Has anyone else looked into the Symposium that John wrote about? It's in Cincinnati on 9/12. I have looked into it...it's free...just have to register and get there. I was hoping that maybe others here would think about going...that way, we could meet each other in person and talk about some kind of event where we could all get together somewhere more central to where we all live. Let me know your thoughts. I know it's coming quickly, but it sounds like a quality event.

Peace,
Mihai

Mihai,

Ill be there. And you are correct it is free. YOU MUST register though. If any one else plans to attend please post. When you arrive at these events, you will be given a nametag to wear so that may help us too.
