Hello all,
I'm not new to PD and have ET as well. My meds are listed below as they are on pharmacists forum. I'm 46, male, father of 9 year old boy, 12 year old girl, and wife's (15 yrs) 20 year old son. Diagnosed at 39 slow but lately noticable progression. Have my own lighting design business and my hobby/passion is longboarding. Not a deathwish I do wear helmet and protective gear.

I don't sleep well, 3-4 hour increments with 1-2 hour periods of awakeness between. Just recently very concerned about ability to support family for undetermined future. I live on 2 acres of very needy property and house in disrepair.

Mirepex 1MG X 2 - 3 X's
Carbidopa 50/Levodopa 200CR X 1 - 3 X's
Amantadine 100 MG - 2 X's am/pm
Selegiline 5 MG - 1 X am

I'm 46 male, weigh 250 lbs, diagnosed @ 40, same meds for 2 years or so

I feel like I need to simplify, drastically, in order to releave anxieties of life's pressure.

Hi Kelly.

Sorry for the late post to welcome you- busy with work and facing similar challenges as you in trying to find some ways in relieving life anxieties- lol! I'm 37, still undiagnosed but being treated like I have PD on 4 mg 2xday of Requip XL and 20 mg/day of baclofen (not sure I'm good with this med yet- ugh!) and not new to whatever my condition ends up being diagnosed as symptoms go back strongly now 6+ years. I have a 7 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl, so understand how daily life with little ones and movement problems is challenging. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Wishing you best of health!! ((hugs)) Connie

Hi, nice to meet you.

I ski so I know what you mean about no death wish. I stay on the green and blue trails and take it slowly. I have a nine year old (my youngest) and a thirteen year old, so our kids are of the same era (I have older ones, too.)

I hope your progression continues to be slow.

Hello, my name is Christina. I'm a 33 year old female with no kids. I was married once, but am currently divorced. I've had pd for a while but wasn't diagnoised until age 33. Where I'm at there isn't really any support, so I've found this site and it has been very helpful. Good luck with your battle vs. pd.
