Greetings- 'Glad to see the page back up.

NEUPRO transdermal patch,as you know, was pulled from the US market. This strand focuses on experiences with alternate meds now that Neupro is no longer avail. in US market.

Replaced patch w equivalent dosage of REQUIP. At first didn't notice much, but after a week or so noticed a period of ~45minutes to 11/2 hours after the requip dose where I would feel really crappy, woozy and quesy.
Past few weeks find I feel like that most of the time.

Wondering if its the progression of PD or a poor tolerance of the oral agaonist. Any other stories/experience out there?

Greetings,
My partner too was on the page and surprisingly doing well at 4mg. Then the recal and then he was weaned and changed to requip which is a total drainer!! For about an hour after 3-4 hrs after taking he is very "drugged"/sleep.
Hopefully the delivery system will be fixed and drug can be put back on the market.

I've had it with Requip....at least for me, it makes me feel much worse more of the time than anything else I've experienced.
Obtaned (at a cost) Neupro patch via a Canadian pharmacy (still legal and distributed everywhere...'cept here)...
feel MUCH better ....
how much pressure will it take to get this back on the US market? It helps! My MDS indicated that once anything is pulled in the US it takes at a minimum of 2 years to return to the US market......
Some advocacy (on our part...) may be in order to let Scwarz Pharma know that there is indeed a call for their product here..

Apparently some quality control issues with US product - patches began to crystallize ....not dangerous, but could lead to inaccurately dosing.....European product, apparently, did not suffer from same problem. Was 'voluntarily' pulled from market in US - no known date of return, and from what I've found out once a product is taken off approved list for any reason its a long process (2 years +) to return.
